WCA Competition

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations.

Regulations

A. Registration

1. Competitors should sign up a Cubing China account before registration.

2. WCA ID can be found at http://worldcubeassociation.org/results/persons.php. Fill your name in the blank with label 'name', and you can find your WCA ID presented on your own WCA page.

3. The registration period is from Mar. 18^th 23:00 to Apr. 27^th 23:59. Beyond the period, the registration is closed. Please note that belated and on-site registration is not accepted.

4. Competitors can change their events in the registration period by sending an e-mail to gzcubeteam@gmail.com.

5. The registration fee includes the basic fee and corresponding event fees. The basic fee is 23 CNY before Apr. 19^th, and then it will rise to 37 CNY afterwards. The event fees will rise as well, and you can check the table below.

Way to pay: 

For domestic Chinese participants, the online paypent for the registration fee is a must. Chinese participents need to pay for the fee during the registration period by Alipay. For foreign competitors, you can just pay the registration fee in cash on venue during sign-in.

B. Competition

1. Competitors must sign in on May. 2^nd or May. 3^rd, and get your name card (competition permit). Carefully keep your name card after sign-in and bring it in competition area, otherwise you cannot compete and you may be disqualified.

2. Enter the venue 30 minutes before each event starts and get yourself prepared in the waiting area when the event begins. If you fail to participate in the event when it is over or you're called to compete, you will be disqualified for the current event and won't have one more chance to participate in this event.

3. Competitors participating in '3x3 with feet', have to prepare the speedstacks timer and mat by themselves, and use them in this event. Competitors participating in '3x3 blindfolded', '5x5 blindfolded' and '3x3 multi blind', have to prepare the blindfolds for covering in these events. We won't offer speedstacks timers, mats and blindfolds for borrowing.

4. The interpretation of 'Time limit' and 'Cut-off' is as follows. 'Time limit' means that if the solving time exceeds time limit, the current solve will be terminated and recorded as DNF. 'Cut-off' means that if one solving time of the first two solves fits in the cut off line, the remained three solves is allowed, otherwise the last three chances of solves will be cancelled. (For '7x7' and '3x3 with feet', 'Cut-off' is for the first solve.)
